News Letter September 2018

Dear Club Member,

Another quiet year for FRC, with disruption to the Club Open Event due to unsafe weather conditions and the 10 series was dogged by roadworks on the Pollington circuit again. However, we enjoyed a trip to see the 4 Days of Dunkirk in the Spring (C/O Condor Tours). The monthly 100 milers proved very popular with some first class routes. These are very popular with members and will continue.

The Time Trial Series had a very strong overall turn out although FRC competitors were thin on the ground again. I would like to thank Tracy Proud, Rob Proud, Daz McArdle, and everyone else that have helped in any way for their commitment and efforts.

Also the ladies Breeze Rides continues to be very popular thanks to Mrs Proud for keeping the rides going.

Sean Newbould is moving with his work to The Netherlands very shortly. So on behalf of the Club I would like to wish him well for the future and the hope everything works out. Cheers Sean.

Welcome to any new members. As you have probably gathered by now we have a “laid back” approach to the Club Scene. We only have two Newsletters per year. All current information is available on the website, through Kendell Cycles or now Twitter on @Fevroadclub.

Feel free to contact via the email link if you wish, or just ring!
