Final event Pollington Handicap Series

Well that's it, over once again. Thanks must go to Tracy Proud and Paul Craven. Without them the series would not have happened and have to be applauded for their commitment.

Thanks must also go to members of the now disbanded South Elmsall Sport and Social Club that came along to assist. They too made the event happen. There was Les pushing you all off and taking results when phone through, Ken on start watches and Norma assisting Tracey with signing on and finish timing. Tracy and Norma did a fantastic job and work together like clockwork!.

Thanks to the residents on route and a special thanks to the owners of the bungalow on Heck Road who allowed us to park in their drive to enable timing when the course was altered at shot notice owing to road works.

Training

Club training runs leave the river bridge at Castleford at 9:30am every Sunday morning. Rides are around 60 miles, without a cafe stop, and take place all year round. There are also fast-paced Chain Gangs on Tuesday and Thursday evenings - routes differ from Summer and Winter. For more information contact This email address is being protected from spambots.
